COACHES WIN AGAIN! CAN YOU SAY 31 IN A ROW?

In a desperate yet futile attempt, the Parents team, led by D.V. (aka Dana) failed to uproot the perennial champions of the Coaches/Parents game by a score of 21-14. Though maimed and injured, the Parents tried desperately to defeat the powerful Coaches squad. But as usual the Coaches persevered and stole the victory. Shamefully, the Parents were exposed using illegal players (not parents) on their squad, which eventually was their downfall, as the Chief ripped through the porous defense of the Parents team. DANA was the main culprit in receiving multiple unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. She is now banned from any competition until next year. However, the Coaches showed what good sports they are by allowing the Losers to dIne with them after the game. TO THE VICTORS GO THE SPOILS!!! THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY

Warriors Football Week #11 Post Season Championship Week

Sunday saw the post season championship games played at the Cardinal Spellman High School football field. We graciously thank Cardinal Spellman HS for partnering with us and generously allowing us to use their beautiful facilities.

The Warriors would like to congratulate the Cardinal Spellman Varsity football team for winning the CHSFL A DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP and thank all who attended the games for showing true Warrior sportsmanship.

Junior Pee Wee Division Post Season Tournament Finals Game

The first game of the day was O’connor Carpet Blue Devils vs was Middletown Animal Clinic Ramblers

The Blue Devils defeated the Ramblers to win the post season Jr. Pee Wee Post Season Tournament 18-0. The Ramblers and Blue Devils battled through a very hard fought first half, which ended scoreless. The second half saw the Blue Devils offense wake up, wearing down the tough Ramblers D to score three times. Both teams played their hearts out.

Pee Wee Division Post Season Tournament Finals Game

The final game was Ralph Giordano F.H. Saints vs Chase Auto Group Rams

In the Peewee Championship game the Chase Auto Group Rams defeated the Saints 25-18. The game was a close battle but Jermel Heard’s 4 TD’s helped win the game. Kenneth “The Flash” Prince helped seal the deal with an XP after a throw from QB Nicolas Bustamante. The offense could not have scored without the support of their O-Line including Matthew Rodriguez, Ty Diaz, Tommy Forliano, Luis Ferran and Steven Gadero. The defense went hard in the 2nd half of the game. Daniel Ortiz and Jaiden Hubbard helped sack the Saints Qb on their 2nd down with 40 seconds left in the game. The defense was led by Frankie Serrano, Maximus Rivera, Jayden Diaz, Xavier Holloway. Congrats to the Rams…

The 14U travel team was defeated by the Vailsburg Gators, 18-0 in The KYFL 14U CHAMPIONSHIP GAME . The score was not indicative of how the game was played. The Warriors, who were significantly undermanned, played stout defense throughout the game, limiting the Gators high powered offense to a 6-0 lead at the end of the first half. Eventually, with only a handful of healthy subs, the Gators wore down the Warriors D, in windy rainy conditions at JFK HS field on Saturday night. The offense could never get going, however, despite great efforts by Ruan Amos, Aiden Hanley-Piri and Pee Wee call up Jayden Ortega. The Warriors salute the young men who gave their all and especially to the Head coach, Joe Guerra.
